Financial Analyst Manager

Frost PLLC is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Manager to join our Litigation Services practice. This position will primarily support our litigation consulting, forensic accounting, and expert witness services, while also contributing to business valuation engagements. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation support engagements, working closely with attorneys and clients to evaluate and present financial evidence.
- Analyze and quantify economic damages, lost profits, unjust enrichment, business interruption, and other financial components in legal disputes.
- Direct forensic accounting investigations, analyze financial records, and present findings to clients in written and verbal formats.
- Prepare or contribute to expert reports, rebuttal reports, and supporting materials used in deposition or trial testimony.
- Assist in deposition and trial preparation on financial and economic issues, including analysis of relevant documents, development of exhibits, and critique of opposing expert reports and methodologies.
- Lead the information-gathering process, develop document requests, and assess the relevance and adequacy of supporting information.
- Perform or review business valuations for litigation, tax, or strategic planning, applying income, market, and asset-based valuation approaches.
- Adjust and validate assumptions in financial and valuation models, and clearly communicate procedures and conclusions to clients.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, client satisfaction, and ongoing communication with Partners and clients.
- Review and finalize reports and client deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and defensibility.
- Supervise and review the work of junior and mid-level staff, providing feedback and technical training.
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff and oversee their training and professional growth in advanced technical topics, client communication, and professional and firm standards.
- Promote collaboration and accountability as a team leader.
- Assist Partners in developing and maintaining client relationships and advising on financial and economic issues in litigation and valuation contexts.
- Lead or participate in client meetings, oversee preparation and presentation of materials, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables and next steps.
- Participate in team and individual business development efforts, including client proposals, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Complete a minimum of 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) annually and stay current on developments in financial reporting, valuation, and litigation-related guidance.
- Maintain professional competence and objectivity with a commitment to professional skepticism.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex issues using advanced accounting, financial, and economic principles and techniques.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in litigation consulting, forensic accounting, or expert witness support.
- Hold or actively pursue at least one of the following certifications: Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), OR Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), OR Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), OR Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), OR Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), OR Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or JD a plus.
- Minimum of seven years of experience.
- Experience working with legal counsel or providing financial analysis in litigation contexts strongly preferred.
