Family Office Accountant

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform accounting and tax activities associated with the support of
family office clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide accounting services to family office clients, including accurate income and
expense coding, tracking various investments, investment partnership accounting, and
tax preparation.
• Maintain general ledger for limited partnerships, LLCs, and other collective entities.
• Process accounts payable invoices for family office clients and related entities.
• Prepare financial statements for individuals, trusts, and other entities.
• Provide day-to-day contact with family office personnel, external service providers, and
internal staff in connection with family office general ledger accounting and processing.
• Responsible for timely initiation, review, and posting of various scheduled or ad hoc
custom reports provided to family office clients (e.g., Liquidity Report, Cash Flow, Balance
Sheets, etc.), ensuring accurate presentation of data.
• Complete various reconciliations associated with area of responsibility and entities
serviced.
• Obtain and maintain pertinent documentation related to area of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with three to five years of hands-on experience in
general accounting or finance. Must demonstrate knowledge of accounting theory and practice
and possess excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

CERTIFICATIONS:
None required.
