As the Northeast Area MAC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) delivery across the areas Amazon corporate offices. You'll be part of our Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team that oversees corporate office space and programs globally. You will report to the AMER MAC Program Manager and oversee area operations teams delivering move, launch, furniture delivery and space programming changes.
The ideal candidate will thrive in matrixed organizations and demonstrate excellence in vendor and project management, executing and implementing seamless workplace modifications and relocations across AMER, and collaborating with Workplace Strategy stakeholders and facilities teams.
The role will be based in Arlington, VA or New York City and may include some travel.

Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of vendor project managers executing multiple concurrent MAC projects, implementing risk management and mitigation strategies
Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of project deliverables, including change management communications
Provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders throughout the move process, acting as an escalation point of contact for the area
Collaborate with regional portfolio managers teams to align MAC activities with facilities operations and building nuance
Coordinate with IT, Security, and other support functions
Build strong partnerships with workplace strategy and business space planners
Implement and maintain standardized processes for move execution, adhering to AMER-wide best practices
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the areas MAC operations
Assist in annual budget planning and tracking for regional MAC activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the overall MAC program

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-faceted programs in a fast-paced environment
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, project management software, and facilities management systems.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
