Full Time

Hybrid - Hicksville, NY

In this role you will:

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

• Oversee/own the full accounting/reporting functions.

• Own the monthly close process including creation, booking of journal entries and reconciliations and Financial Statements

• Ensure that JV Member payments are paid per the terms of the JV operating agreement

• Send instructions for the monthly transfer of funds from the Sunrise bank account to the JV bank account

• Provide detailed support for the monthly invoices

• Send detailed instructions for the monthly payments

• Work with the billing manager to ensure that accounts receivable are billed and collected promptly

• Ensure that monthly bank reconciliations are completed

• Maintain the chart of accounts

• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

• Maintain partner capital accounts

• Review monthly payments for potential issues

• Prepare financials slides for the quarterly Board meetings

• Reporting duties to include complete financial statements, monthly supplemental reports, monthly KPI reporting

• Calculate variances from the budget and previous months actuals and report significant issues to management

• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts

• Provide financial analyses as needed

• Provide for a system of management cost reports

• Periodically discuss issues with the JV finance committee.

• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit and to internal auditors as requested

• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and provide support for the NYC Unincorporated business tax and state and federal tax filings

All you need is:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience

• 7+ years of Accounting experience for a major company or division of a large corporation

• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations, and with specific LLC accounting experience, preferred

• Clinical Lab experience with revenue recognition/billing experience, preferred

• Excellent Excel skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Knowledge of GAAP

Salary range $130,000 to $145,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
