We are looking for a talented PowerGen Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Columbus, IN location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Maintain Accurate Pricing Data: Ensure all pricing data in order management and rebate systems is precise, including account setup and data verification.

  • Track and Monitor Win/Loss Data: Keep a close eye on requests for quotes and analyze win/loss data to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Make Pricing Recommendations: Develop and suggest pricing strategies for new products and price changes, ensuring they align with market demands and business goals.

  • Implement and Review Price Adjustments: Execute pricing strategies at the product or market segment level and regularly review adjustments to ensure effectiveness.

  • Lead Pricing Improvement Projects: Manage or participate in projects aimed at improving pricing processes, developing outcomes, and implementing enhancements.

  • Create Reports and Analysis: Generate detailed reports and analyses, presenting findings and conclusions to managers to support decision-making.

  • Assist Customers with Pricing Issues: Provide prompt and effective assistance to customers regarding complex pricing issues through various communication channels.

  • Maintain Confidential Information: Handle sensitive information with care, ensuring it is managed appropriately and securely.

  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement teams, implementing new processes and programs to enhance efficiency.

  • Coach and Mentor: Guide and support less experienced Pricing Analysts, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Accounting or a related subject required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have operational experience in Cummins' Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) tool

  • Supports pricing management system implementation activities

  • Manages PowerGen pricing systems globally
