Sr. Indirect Tax Advisor

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Tax Specialist to join the corporate office of an Oil and Gas Operator client located in the Galleria. This person will be joining a team of 2 other Tax Specialists and will be directly reporting into the Tax Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing all indirect tax functions, including sales and use, property, VAT, excise, and more. This role does require this person to have prior corporate indirect tax experience. This role will offer a hybrid schedule with allowing the team to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the Galleria office. This position will not only be responsible for corporate Tax Compliance but may also include sourcing data from SAP. Skills and Requirements Bachelors in Accounting (or related) 8+ years of Corporate Indirect Tax experience Compliance Tax Experience Tax Preparation experience Experience with preparation of tax provision workpapers Expereince with Onesource, Corptax, Longview, or similar tax software Experience with SAP (or related tools) Proficient in Microsoft Office CPA or pursuing CPA, or other qualifications (CMI) International accounting experience Masters in Accounting Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions Oil and gas experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
