Controller Job Description The Controller is responsible for managing the financial functions within the organization. This role ensures that cash, invoicing, budgeting, and payroll reporting are completed accurately and on time. The Controller will oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, capital expenditures, cash collections, and maintain internal controls while ensuring risk management practices are in place. Responsibilities + Ensure cash, invoicing, budget vs actual, and payroll reporting is completed as required. + Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes. + Provide oversight of capital expenditures. + Oversee completion and reporting of cash collections, including credit authorization. + Responsible for cash flow reporting. + Oversee and complete month-end reporting. + Manage financial reporting. + Oversee A/R and A/P processing. + Perform year-end preparation and processing for annual financial audit and R D tax credit. + Responsible for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting and information processing for management reports. + Maintain internal controls. + Responsible for risk management. + Attend and actively participate in meetings as required. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounting. + General ledger management. + Reconciliation. + Financial reporting. + Financial statement preparation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. + Minimum of 10 years' experience in an accounting position. + Experience with cost accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. + Manufacturing knowledge and experience preferred. + CPA preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
