As CFO you'll direct the financial management of OEM, overseeing budgets, accounting and procurement. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Chief Financial Office, DAS Procurement Services, the Legislative Fiscal Office, and the Secretary of State, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment with state rules and policies.

Your contributions will be instrumental in developing budgetary plans, forecasting expenditures, and effectively managing state and federal grants. What do you need to qualify? Minimum Qualifications:

Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience;

OR

Four years of related experience and a bachelors degree in a related field.

  • The salary listed is the non- Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS) qualifying salary. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary will reflect the 6.95% increase.

  • Employees of the Oregon Department of Emergency Management are subject to recall at any time. During an emergency this position may be required to work long hours without normal days off within the State Emergency Coordination Center (ECC), Recovery Coordination Center (RCC) or in the field supporting emergency response activities. To support development and enhancements of State ECC/RCC capabilities and responsibilities all staff may be re-directed from day-to-day duties to support planning, training, and exercise activities as needed.
