Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with vendors and industry contacts to obtain accurate valuations of specialized equipment
- Create detailed asset valuation reports for use in sales and internal analysis
- Drive revenue by remarketing and selling off-lease equipment at or above expected returns
- Analyze sales bids in comparison to historical data, residual values, and market trends
- Negotiate equipment sales and purchase agreements with vendors and secondary buyers
- Coordinate equipment returns, including freight and logistics management
- Review audit and condition reports to assess equipment status and recommend customer chargebacks
- Standardize chargeback policies across similar asset classes and conditions
- Draft equipment return conditions for lease agreements
- Monitor portfolio equipment values in relation to book value and industry benchmarks
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Industry experience, particularly in construction equipment or similar asset types
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology-driven environments
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in asset management, equipment leasing, or related sales roles
- In-depth understanding of the equipment leasing industry
