Summary

Our location in Lake Bluff, Illinois, currently has an opportunity for a Finance Supervisor to support our Legal & OEC team.

This role will provide FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) support to the Corporate Legal & OEC organization, reporting directly to the Legal & OEC Finance Controller. Oversees financial processes and activities and provides analytics to support strategic business decisions.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as a business partner for: DVP of Litigation, DVP of Legal Regulatory & Compliance, DVP of Securities and Benefits, and DVP of Legal Licensing & Acquisitions.
  • Develop LBE forecasts and prepares supporting analytics and review materials for presentation to General Counsel and DVP Assistant Corporate Controller. Manages risks and opportunities through the use of external and internal signals and data. Develops contingency plans.
  • Leveraging Abbott Shared Services organization, oversee monthly close activities, and provide clear and meaningful financial reporting and commentary. Ensures compliance and champions internal controls and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes.

Education and Experience Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5 7 years of experience in FP&A and Accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills, ability to interact with senior leadership, and present complex financial information in clear and concise terms.
  • Proficient with financial modeling, systems, and tools, including Excel, Hyperion Essbase and SAP.
  • Ability to operate independently and adaptable to changing requirements.
  • Ability to manage many competing priorities and execute in a pressurized environment.

The base pay for this position is $85,300.00 $170,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
