Our client, an industrial company, is seeking a Controller to report directly to the CFO. This is the ideal role for an accomplished professional looking to leverage their leadership abilities and accounting knowledge in an entrepreneurial environment.

- Oversee accounting cycles including accounts payable, cash management, and billing
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
- Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting
- Oversee financial close processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Provide guidance and supervision to the accounting staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects as needed
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, and regulations
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the CFO and CEO
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA or MBA is strongly preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in the industrial parts sector is strongly preferred
- Prior experience managing and leading an accounting team is required
- Strong technical accounting skills and software proficiency
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
