As a Project Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of exciting, high-impact projects. You'll also have the opportunity to shape the team's career development, ensuring growth and long-term achievement.Join our Financial Operations team today!Essential Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with Builder's Lien Act, holdback requirements, payment processes, contract terms, and project closeoutsCollaborate with the project management team to complete monthly management reviews and deliver accurate cost reportsPrepare and present performance summaries and executive-level project progress reports to leadershipDevelop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring project expenditures align with financial guidelines and goalsManage cost and profitability reporting for projects, ensuring alignment with key performance metricsGuide the team in preparing LEMs, invoices, and progress claims, ensuring adherence to approval processes and contract termsProvide timely and accurate financial reports and information to the Project Management & Operations teams as requiredInvestigate financial anomalies and inquiries, providing interpretation and resolution as necessaryQualifications:Minimum of 6 years of experience in operational AccountingExperience in supporting industries such as Construction, Telecom, or ManufacturingPost-secondary business degree preferredStrong knowledge of contractual, legal, and commercial terms within the construction industryWorking knowledge of construction methods and processesStrong financial acumen, including equipment utilization, rates, capital decisions, and profitability analysisProficiency in construction accounting principles and software systemsExcellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlinesExperience with construction administration, contract terms, and familiarity with JD Edwards is a plusWork Conditions:This position offers work from home options with the understanding that at times you may be required to attend the office or travel to the project site as business needs requireAdditional InformationThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America's most diversified construction companies.
