Company Overview Our client operates a diversified portfolio of profitable ventures, including: 55 Quick-Service Restaurant locations (49 current + 6 in acquisition pipeline) Commercial real estate including office buildings and development projects Hospitality operations featuring an event center and wedding venue Energy sector assets including gas station operations Hotel development project currently in progress This established enterprise maintains a national footprint with assets strategically positioned across the United States, supported by an in-house accounting firm and dedicated back-office team. Role Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Oversee comprehensive financial operations across all business entities Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multi-unit operations Provide strategic financial guidance to support acquisition and expansion initiatives Manage complex multi-entity financial reporting and consolidation Operational Excellence Partner with in-house accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting Optimize cash flow management across diverse revenue streams Implement financial controls and systems to support continued growth Coordinate with external advisors on tax planning and compliance Growth & Development Support due diligence processes for acquisitions and divestitures Develop financial models for new market expansion opportunities Create strategic recommendations for portfolio optimization Collaborate directly with ownership on major financial decisions Ideal Candidate Profile Required Qualifications Multi-entity experience with complex organizational structures Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) industry background strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred 8+ years progressive finance leadership experience Proven track record with multi-unit operations and franchise systems Preferred Experience CFO, VP Finance, or Senior Controller background Experience with acquisitions, mergers, and business expansion Real estate and hospitality industry knowledge Familiarity with franchise operations and multi-location businesses Key Competencies Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with ownership Systems-oriented approach to financial management and reporting Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build processes from the ground up What We Offer Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $200,000 - $300,000 Performance-based bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity for significant professional growth and equity participation Work Environment Direct reporting relationship to the business owner Significant autonomy and decision-making authority Collaborative partnership with the established accounting team Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid/remote options Access to diverse industry experience across QSR, real estate, and hospitality Application Requirements This role requires candidates with demonstrated multi-entity experience and a strong preference for QSR industry background.
