Duties & Responsibilities

+ Lead the design and execution of foundational risk programs including RCSA, issue management, and control testing across multiple business lines for the Enterprise Payments Segment.

+ Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., central banks, financial supervisory bodies) and coordinate regulatory examinations and audits for Payments.

+ Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.

+ Drive remediation of audit and regulatory issues, ensuring sustainable solutions and timely closure.

+ Partner with compliance, legal, and internal audit teams to prepare for and spearhead management of regulatory exams and internal reviews for the Segment.

+ Oversee risk identification and assessment processes, ensuring timely escalation of emerging risks.

+ Develop and deliver risk reporting to senior management and board committees, enhancing transparency and decision-making.

+ Collaborate with legal, risk, audit, and segments to ensure integrated compliance efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise risk framework and regulatory expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the banking or financial services sector.

+ Knowledge of US banking regulations (e.g., Basel III, BSA/ AML, FATCA) and regulatory bodies and frameworks

+ Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on the Segment and overall organization.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication for drafting policies, reports, and regulatory correspondence.

+ Ability to identify compliance gaps and recommend practical solutions.

+ Ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.

+ Precision in reviewing documentation, preparing regulatory responses, and monitoring compliance activities.

+ Proven ability to manage regulatory projects and interact with internal teams, including senior management, and regulators.

+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Compensation Range:

70,000.00 - 105,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
