B&N Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities
Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to ensure the company's financial health and support strategic objectives
Oversee cash flow management, investments, and asset management to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing and future projects
Manage relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, and strategic business partners
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Lead financial due diligence and valuation analysis for potential M&A
Build and execute comprehensive financial strategies and long-term planning for revenue operations
Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws
Monitor financial and accounting systems, internal controls, and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
Provide financial insight and support for project bidding and risk management, working closely with operations and project management teams
Evaluate project profitability, timelines, and financial risks
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting and administrative teams
Support the CEO with major financial decisions and strategic planning
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA designation required; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years in executive financial leadership roles, ideally within the engineering, construction, or related industries
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management
Experience with project-based accounting and operational finance in an engineering or construction environment preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
