Are you a finance leader who thrives in manufacturing, owns the numbers, and leads from the front? Ashton North is recruiting on behalf of an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer seeking a Vice President of Finance for its Greater Manchester, NH-based division.
In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to divisional leadership, shaping financial strategy and partnering across departments—from engineering and operations to supply chain and procurement. You won’t just manage the numbers—you’ll own the outcomes.
Why Join This Team?
Make Your Mark
Be the financial storyteller to corporate and the voice of truth within the division—forecasting, guiding, and improving business outcomes.

Mentor and grow a team of accounting and finance professionals who are in the trenches with you—this is not a back-office job.
Drive Operational Excellence
Lead efforts to improve systems, refine processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities across all functions.
Oversee ERP integration and ensure inventory and financial systems are accurate, aligned, and efficient.
Collaborate across teams to strengthen financial controls and enhance visibility into operational performance.
What You’ll Do
Own Financial Results: Deliver complete, accurate, and timely financials every period.
Forecast the Future: Lead FP&A, budgeting, and scenario modeling to support growth and strategy.
Improve the Future: Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across the business.
Be the Storyteller: Communicate division performance to corporate with clarity and conviction.
Lead Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with engineering, supply chain, and operations—be visible, walk the plant, and understand how products are made.
Champion ERP & Inventory Integrity: Lead ERP enhancements and ensure accurate inventory valuation and costing.
Stay Present & Engaged: This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the day-to-day, working side-by-side with operations—not from an ivory tower.
What You Bring

Must have recent experience in manufacturing environments working with steel or metal and embedded systems
Background in companies ranging from $40 million to $200 million in revenue
Deep expertise in cost accounting, forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and ERP systems
