Primary Responsibilities
- Provides direct administrative support to Commercial Loan Officers.
- Safeguards the quality of the Banks loan portfolio by assisting with the management of the level of exceptions and delinquencies.
- Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
- Follows up with customers for financial statements and other information as requested
- Coordinates with Credit Analysts to maximize their use for underwriting and compliance review
- Partners with Credit Administration to ensure proper documentation, loan closing and file preparation
- Provides quality customer service to clients.
- Facilitates customer meetings with or in the absence of the Loan Officer.
- Bachelors Degree in business, finance or accounting; or equivalent training
- Minimum three (3) years experience relevant banking experience with experience in lending area preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of business financial statements and tax returns
- Strong computer/technology skills with the ability to learn new systems if necessary.
- Must be extremely organized, accurate and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
