A growing organization is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee regional accounting and financial operations. This role will guide divisional finance teams, ensure accurate reporting, and partner with operational leadership to drive performance and support strategic objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with business acumen and the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead regional financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and strong internal controls. Oversee month-end close activities and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Manage, mentor, and develop divisional finance leaders, fostering a high-performance culture. Partner with operational leaders to review budgets, track performance, and identify cost optimization opportunities. Oversee regional budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with divisional and operational leaders to align financial plans with business objectives. Monitor financial results, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions where needed. Support strategic planning and special projects in coordination with senior leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally to address financial questions, resolve issues, and improve processes. Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations. Support ERP optimization and reporting enhancements; CMiC experience is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA, or MBA) preferred. 10-15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 6 years in a supervisory capacity. Background managing multi-location or divisional teams. Industry experience in construction, engineering, or a related field strongly preferred. Strong understanding of both accounting principles and financial planning/analysis. Demonstrated ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Proven leadership skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization. Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
