Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Dynamic Equipment is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This key financial leader will be responsible for all aspects of financial strategy, operations, and planning, supporting both day-to-day performance and long-term business growth.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic financial acumen, operational discipline, and leadership capability, with a proven ability to drive enterprise value in a high-growth, investor-backed environment. The incumbent will serve as a strategic partner to the President and Leadership team, overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, risk management, capital allocation, and team development while ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS and investor requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and investment priorities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning, incorporating market dynamics, operational trends, and growth initiatives.
- Drive performance metrics, dashboards, and variance analysis to monitor company health and profitability.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and investor reporting obligations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and financial stakeholders.
- Cash Flow, Capital, and Risk Management
- Monitor and optimize working capital, cash flow, and liquidity to support ongoing operations and strategic investments.
- Lead financial risk management initiatives, including compliance, insurance, credit risk, and ESG-related financial reporting, when applicable.
- Evaluate and manage debt, equity, and alternative financing strategies.
- Operational Finance & Process Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement in financial operations, internal controls, and systems scalability to support growth.
- Leverage technology, automation, and digital tools to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Oversee AR/AP, 401(k) Plan, inventory controls, and cost accounting.
- Cross-Functional and Investor Engagement
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, HR, and Supply Chain teams to align financial strategy with business execution.
- Support due diligence processes and financial integration.
- Maintain strong relationships with private equity or investment partners and communicate key business drivers and performance metrics.

Key Competencies and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive financial leadership, ideally in a private equity-backed or high-growth industrial environment
- Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and financial compliance
- Strong track record in strategic planning, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
- Demonstrated success in cash flow management, capital planning, and risk mitigation
- Proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting software, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics)
- Effective communicator with strong executive presence and ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture
