Senior Tax Accountant

Role:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with external service providers for preparation and review of U.S. Federal & state income tax returns.

• Review and extraction of financial data from accounting systems

• Work closely with in-house resources and external service providers to ensure accurate, timely filing sales and use taxes and other business-related filings.

• Provide federal & state tax audit support.

• Coordinate business tax registrations and de-registrations.

• Support the business by completion of exemption certificates, residency certificates and other routine forms and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in public accounting
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting and/ or finance
• CPA designation or progress towards CPA designation preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize and document work
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage many tasks and projects simultaneously without missing deadlines
• Must be highly organized with a passion for operational efficiency and excellence
