GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Provide overall strategic and tactical leadership of the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Build key capabilities that enable high-efficiency processing and effective delivery of core finance, accounting, and supply chain management functions.
  • Digitally transform service delivery of subject functions.
  • Deploy a leveraged digital model for core transactional processes and reporting.
  • Deploy a high level of process automation for basic transactions.
  • Finance/Accounting Goal - Provide real-time delivery of key services, functional KPI's and robust, relevant financial reporting at a reduced departmental expense.
  • Provide high-value tools, expertise, operational and financial insights to business leaders, which enable a higher level of business strategic partnering and significant business value enhancement.
  • Build and deploy sophisticated analytics capabilities and business intelligence that provide keen insights and exploit business value residing in vast stores of data (unit level economics-revenue, cost, operating leverage, asset utilization, etc.).
  • Actively collaborate with business leaders and IS/IT leaders to design and deliver efficient and effective services around customer experience.
  • Upgrade team/skills for stronger problem solving that leverage business and technology knowledge to drive operating efficiencies and business profitability.
  • Goal-near real-time business intelligence and insight/KPIs that helps guide path to improved profitability, strong growth and improved ROI.
  • Oversee supply chain functions to maximize efficiency and value.
  • Overall, achieve outperformance by reallocating resources from low- to high-value activities, working closely with CEO.
  • Ensure concerns are raised to the appropriate level of management.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
  • Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Accounting or Finance degree required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 15 years of senior leadership experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must be analytical
  • Demonstrated track record of creating significant business value
  • Expertise and depth in analytics and high-throughput processing/automation
  • Transformation mindset/skillset; hands-on leader
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Willing to coach and mentor others
