Le/la analyste financier(ere) principal(e), FP&A corporatif soutient McKesson Canada en matiere de planification financiere, de previsions, de production de rapports et danalyse financiere consolidee. Section A Responsabilites specifiques

  • Agir a titre de contributeur(trice) cle en soutenant la fonction de planification et danalyse financieres (FP&A) pour lunite daffaires McKesson Canada, incluant la consolidation, les rapports financiers, le budget annuel, les previsions mensuelles, les revues operationnelles trimestrielles, la planification a long terme et les analyses financieres ad hoc
  • Agir comme conseiller(ere) financier(ere) de confiance et partenaire daffaires strategique pour McKesson Canada, avec la responsabilite des analyses financieres consolidees et du soutien a la prise de decision
  • Diriger le processus mensuel danalyse des ecarts, en assurant des explications exactes par rapport au plan, aux previsions et aux resultats de lannee precedente
  • Soutenir le/la gestionnaire principal(e), FP&A corporatif, dans lavancement de la strategie FP&A de McKesson Canada aupres des differents groupes
  • Contribuer de facon autonome a des projets visant lamelioration des processus de planification financiere, incluant la mise en uvre de systemes et le developpement de tableaux de bord Power BI
  • Tirer parti des technologies emergentes pour automatiser et optimiser les flux de travail existants

Soutenir letablissement de normes cles et dindicateurs de performance afin de mesurer et de suivre efficacement la sante financiere de McKesson Canada

  • Fournir un soutien proactif et des analyses financieres aux equipes des unites daffaires et des finances corporatives, compte tenu de la complexite de lentreprise et de la disponibilite des donnees
  • Effectuer toute autre tache connexe, selon les besoins

Le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) possedera les qualifications, competences et attributs suivants :

  • Baccalaureat en commerce avec une specialisation en finance ou en comptabilite. Titre de CPA preferer. Un MBA avec une concentration en finance sera egalement considere
  • Minimum de 7 ans dexperience en comptabilite et/ou en planification et analyse financieres, idealement au sein dune organisation mondiale
  • Capacite demontree a mener des initiatives de facon autonome, avec un esprit entrepreneurial et une orientation axee sur les resultats
  • Aptitude a cerner les enjeux, a prendre des decisions eclairees et a effectuer les escalades necessaires avec des recommandations claires
  • Mentalite axee sur lamelioration des processus et le numerique, avec un interet marque pour lapprentissage de nouvelles technologies, outils et methodes de travail
  • Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites dans un environnement dynamique, avec un fort sens de lurgence et un engagement envers le respect des echeanciers

Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A supports McKesson Canada with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and consolidated financial analysis. This role focuses on delivering decision-relevant insights for budgeting, long-range planning, and quarterly performance reviews, while supporting initiatives that enhance FP&A processes and systems. The position leverages advanced analytics, technology, and automation to improve efficiency and reporting quality. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong analytical judgment, a digital/process-improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business units in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Section A Specific Responsibilities
Serve as a key contributor, supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for the McKesson Canada business unit, including consolidation, financial reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, quarterly operating reviews, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis
Act as a trusted financial advisor and strategic business partner for McKesson Canada, with accountability for consolidated financial insights and decision support
Lead the monthly variance analysis process, ensuring accurate explanations against plan, forecast, and prior-year performance
Support Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A in advancing McKesson Canada FP&A strategy across different groups
Independently contribute to projects aimed at improving financial planning processes, including system implementations and development of Power BI dashboards
Leverage emerging technologies to automate and optimize existing workflows

Support establishment of key standards and performance metrics to effectively measure and monitor the financial health of McKesson Canada
Provide proactive support and financial analysis to business unit and corporate finance team given the complexity of the business and the data availability
Other duties as assigned

Section B Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following credentials, skills, and attributes:
Bachelors degree in Commerce with a major in Finance or Accounting. CPA designation preferred. An MBA with a Finance concentration will also be considered
Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a global organization
Proven ability to drive initiatives independently, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on delivering results
Skilled in identifying issues, making sound decisions, and escalating with clear recommendations when necessary
Process-improvement/Digital mindset with an interest in learning new technologies, tools and ways of working
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, maintaining a strong sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels
Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and working collaboratively in cross- functional environments
Bilingual (French and English)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with SAP, BPC, Hyperion, Thinkcell, Power BI, Power Query, and AI tools considered an asset
Strong attention to detail with advanced analytical skills

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. $85,400 - $142,400
