Collections Specialist/Admin Assistant

GEM Financial (within Edwards Auto Group) in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a Collections specialist/Admin Assistan t. GEM Financial is a financing arm of a Buy Here Pay Here car dealership. GEM Financial provides auto loans to clients that have no credit or poor credit. This position will be a hybrid role with multiple job duties and responsibilities.

Hours - Monday & Friday 8am-6pm, Tues-Thursday 8am-5pm. 1 Saturday shift per month.

$40,000 annually plus bonuses

Responsibilities

Taking both Inbound & Outbound calls

Cashiering, taking payments in-person and over the phone

Making payment arrangements with customers

Putting together repo packets

Communicating and working with outside vendors

Other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills

Previous collections experience is highly preferred

Previous experience handling payment transactions

Strong phone skills
