Role Overview
The Financial Specialist supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis across theanization. The role requires strong financial reporting capability, advanced Excel proficiency, and hands-on experience with SAP accounting modules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, demonstrates a high level of integrity and accountability, isfortable working with large datasets, and can translate financial information into clear insights that support decision-making. Experience in the medical device industry is preferred but not required. The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality financial data is delivered to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, analyze, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a high degree of accuracy.
Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting to support strategic and operational decisions.
Build, maintain, and improve financial models for budgeting, planning, and scenario analysis.
Extract, validate, and reconcile financial data from SAP and other systems.
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and ensure timely, accurate data delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Support month end and year end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance automation.
Ensurepliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
Perform all duties with a strong sense of integrity, ownership, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, andplex formulas.
Experience with SAP (FI/CO or related modules).
Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting cycles.
Ability to work with large datasets and reconcileplex financial information.
Strong analytical,munication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and ownership in delivering high-quality financial work.
Ability to work cross-functionally to support internal and external financial data needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the medical device industry (preferred, not required).
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools.
