Southfield School in Shreveport, Louisiana, seeks an experienced professional to serve as Finance Director. The ideal candidate would be a CPA with a degree in accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in non-profit accounting, including managerial experience and a proven record of mentoring and developing staff, ideally in an independent school or educational setting. This experienced professional would lead the Business Office and oversee all aspects of the finances of the school. The Finance Director reports directly to the Head of School and supervises the accounting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, endowment, and billing operations. The Finance Director oversees audit and budgeting and is responsible for preparing all financial reports. This is a full-time, 12-month position that will begin on July 1, 2026.
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Three years of preferred experience
- CPA certification highly preferred
