Position Overview

As a Supply Chain IT Portfolio Manager within the IT department, you will oversee and optimize a portfolio of supply chain technology initiatives. You will provide strategic direction to project and program managers, ensuring all initiatives drive operational efficiency and align with organizational objectives. Collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders will be key to defining portfolio goals, prioritizing initiatives, and managing risks. You will also monitor industry developments to keep the portfolio innovative and responsive to evolving supply chain challenges.

A Day in the Life

• Portfolio management (25%): Oversee and optimize a portfolio of supply chain IT projects and programs.
• Team leadership (20%): Guide and mentor project managers with strategic direction.
• Stakeholder collaboration (15%): Define portfolio objectives and strategies with cross-functional partners.
• Financial oversight (15%): Manage budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
• Communication (10%): Deliver clear updates and compelling presentations to stakeholders.
• Risk management (10%): Identify, assess, and resolve complex issues.
• Industry awareness (5%): Stay current with supply chain IT trends and best practices.

Required skills

• 10+ years of experience in portfolio management.
• 5+ years working with supply chain, IT, analytics, or systems roles.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain executive relationships as a trusted partner.
• Proficiency in portfolio management tools and methodologies .
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• PMP certification
