Position Responsibilities:.Oversee all aspects of financial reporting and control environment by ensuring compliance with Methode financial policies and proceduresExamine ways to enhance growth and value creation by evaluating internal operations and crafting/implementing proactive solutions for division cost savings opportunitiesAccountable for managing the processes/tools and lead a skilled finance staff, assuring that the function remains fundamentally excellent and attracts/retains top professional talentLead and manage a team of finance resources and drive team development with a bias for results and operational excellenceDeliver results meeting financial and strategic objectives of the businessMeet and exceed finance operational standards by contributing information to strategic financial plans and reviewsDrive business performance, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvementAct as collaborator and key contributor/decision-maker on effective deployment of strategic plans and thus resources (Capital/Human) by establishing disciplined financial models/processesDevelop an annual operating plan and related budgets, forecasting and analysisProvide timely data/reporting needed to measure performance and the effectiveness/impact of improvement initiatives as well as the analysis needed to understand and address gapsEnsure a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance with all relevant financial and accounting standards as well as all applicable laws, codes, and regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external audit teamsUnderstand and ensure outstanding diligent adherence to GAAP QualificationsBachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or business requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Automotive industryAt least 5 years of senior finance leadership experience, including managing direct reportsStrong personal leadership qualities; a track record of recruiting, motivating and developing a capable finance teamHigh energy, accountable and agileStrong analytical, financial, cost accounting, and related managerial informational accounting/finance experience requiredLean process improvement experience preferredDemonstrated competence and experience in implementing and managing rigorous, disciplined financial controls, financial management systems, and enterprise performance measuresExcellent oral, presentation and written communication skillsSolid understanding of manufacturing (ERP) systems requiredExperience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is a plusTech-savvy with proficiency in Excel and enterprise performance management systemsUp to 25% domestic and international Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
