POSITION TITLE: BSA/AML Compliance Associate (Full-time with benefits)

DEPARTMENT OR BRANCH LOCATION: Doylestown Executive Office

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in maintaining BSA/AML/OFAC requirements and monitoring cash transaction activity in order to determine if the bank is in compliance with the regulatory requirements.

Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of various reports, in order to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other acts, laws, and regulations.

Assist in the handling of alerts produced by the BSA/AML monitoring system.

Perform operational support duties such as verifying new customer file set-ups, photo IDs, and W-9s.

Assist others in the department in an appraisal of internal controls in order to determine the propriety and level of compliance with laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.

Maintain an adequate level of knowledge in compliance and security matters, ensuring tactful and diplomatic interaction with employees and customers contacted during reviews of information and reports.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

General knowledge and understanding of compliance and security-related laws and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Act/OFAC.

Strong organizational, time management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to convey detailed information and instructions clearly.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn position-related software.

Ability to effectively use general office equipment.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Highly developed interpersonal skills and professional attitude.

Good customer relations and telephone skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards and techniques. (preferred)

One-plus years of general banking or related experience.

Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent educational experience. (preferred)

Auditing experience. (preferred)

HOURS will average approximately 40 per week. This position is budgeted for 2,080 hours per year.
