Job DescriptionThe Pricing Analyst V leads activities associated with the development of cost/price proposals, including strategic planning, analysis, spreadsheet development, and budget analysis. This is a remote position; a candidate local to an Amentum HQ facility (Chantilly, VA, or Fort Worth, TX) or with the ability to travel is preferred. US citizenship is required.
Principal Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute commercial pricing strategies aligning with contract cost and pricing principles, aimed at acquiring new and follow-on business opportunities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing proposals meet strategic and financial goals.
+ Apply a deep understanding of commercial pricing strategies to develop competitive pricing models.
+ Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to requirements
+ Stay current with industry trends and best practices in commercial real estate and facilities management.
+ Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities and commercial procedures and policies.
+ Acts as a mentor, coordinating and directing other members of the pricing staff on larger complex proposals
+ Ensures compliance with company and external policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Deep understanding of the commercial real estate and facilities management ( IFM ) industry
+ Extensive knowledge of commercial pricing strategy
+ Profound understanding of proposal development, including strategy and contract cost and pricing principles.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong mathematical skills for detailed financial analysis.
+ Ability to review and write pricing narrative responses
+ Extensive experience with the components of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
+ Proven ability to develop and implement commercial pricing strategies.
+ Knowledge of commercial procedures and policies for identifying and developing potential business opportunities is a plus
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelors degree in an associated discipline; two (2) years experience in contracts or pricing may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college
+ Twelve (12) years experience in cost proposal preparation or cost proposal development; relevant finance experience may be
