Financial Analyst Medical Devices Company Job Title - Financial Analyst [Can work remote - RI or NJ preferred] Location - Warwick, RI or Franklin Lakes, NJ Duration - 6+ Months Contract Total Hours/week - 40.00 1st Shift Roles & Responsibilities Description: Suppliers remote worker must commit to east coast hours JDE or SAP Temp to Perm Possibility Strong Inventory /Cost accounting General Ledger, Forecasting, Balance Sheet, for the surgical unit Experience Required 2 ++ years experience we want someone to hit the ground running. Support plant finance function within Operation finance. Collaborate with cost center & plant manager, functional leaders & Finance Business Partners in developing annual budgets/quarterly projections; including clear documentation of assumptions & posting in JDE ERP System. Own cost accounting function for manufacturing plants. Record month-end journal entries (accruals, reclasses, charge in/outs, & prepaid amortization) for all cost centers supported; ensure accurate reporting of financial results in JDE. Analyze financial variances for cost center actuals, projections, and budget. Compile Month-End Balance Sheet account reconciliations. Support inventory accounting and inventory reserve analysis. Ad-hoc analytical support for cost center managers on an as-needed basis. Provide project support for continuous improvement for the group as a whole. Skills & Certifications Ability to work in a face-paced, challenging environment; strong attention to detail. Self-driven, proactive, and seeks continuous improvement. Eligibilities & qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. 2+ years of experience - Financial analysis / Accounting. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
