SUPPLEMENTAL: Classroom Site Fund - $10,000 annual or prorated based on start date!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management, Master's degree preferred
• Three years' experience in Finance, Governmental or auditing; school district accounting preferred
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in related area in an office with considerable public contact
• Experience developing and managing large budgets
• Experience working with Uniform System of Financial Records (USFR), School Finance, and Federal Compliance, 2 CFR 200, preferred
• Proficiency in accounting and related software applications including PowerPoint, MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that demonstrates desired knowledge, skills and abilities as the Superintendent/Designee may find appropriate and acceptable

• Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 15.
• Knowledge of Uniform System of Financial Records (USFR) and School Finance.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to coordinate with others to schedule work activities to meet due dates.
• Ability to work under pressure and within many areas of responsibility at one time.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced and high-pressure work setting.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and database software programs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with staff, students, parents, and community members.
• Utilize, with fidelity, the District Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) program at the building level.
• Ensure information obtained through the course of duties associated with this position, is held in the highest of confidentiality.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Federal and State laws, district procedures, and Board policies, including mandatory reporting procedures.
