What will you do?

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our financial planning, cost controlling and reporting. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced analytics, and help drive meaningful insights that support strategic decisionmaking.

Core Financial Responsibilities

• Prepare & lead monthly cost center reviews with department leaders to help them manage and optimize their budgets.
• Assist in developing the annual budget and forecast, analyzing actual results versus plan, prior periods, and business drivers.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations.
• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and costmanagement programs led by the FP&A team.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and other business teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial information.

Sales & Planning Support

• Respond to Sales team reporting needs, including requests related to sales planning and performance.
• Contribute to the annual targetsetting process using global and local planning tools.

Process Improvements in Finance & Accounting

• Enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of monthend close and reporting through AI and process automation, reducing manual work and streamlining routine tasks.
• Design and implement practical AI and automation use cases within Financesuch as automated variance analysis, forecast driver insights, and commentary generation.
• Identify and execute opportunities to digitalize and automate Finance processes, improving efficiency and reporting reliability.

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 70,000 CAD - $ 90,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelors degree in accounting, business or finance
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills are preferred
• Experience with Power BI and AIdriven analytics is considered a strong asset
• Familiarity with SAP is an asset
• Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, interpret financial data, and support accurate reporting
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Proactive, curious, and selfmotivated mindset, with a willingness to learn new systems, investigate issues, and contribute to process improvements
