Business Analyst (Financial)

Kforce has a client in Deerfield Beach, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst (Financial).

Responsibililties:

• Lead a core project initiative end to end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight
• Support 1 to 2 concurrent technology reviews and enhancement efforts, providing analysis, documentation, and recommendations
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to support procurement transformation and facilities-related initiatives
• Translate complex business needs, particularly within financial domains, into clear functional and technical requirements
• Contribute to Agile transformation efforts, while operating effectively in a primarily Waterfall-based environment
• Facilitate requirements sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution walkthroughs
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for enhancements, production support, and system/documentation management* 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with senior-level ownership of projects
• Strong financial services or finance-related domain knowledge
• Proven experience working in Waterfall environments, with adaptability to Agile methodologies
• Experience leading projects or serving in a lead BA capacity, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsTechnical Skills
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Azure, Office 365, DevOps preferred)Additional Details
