Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organizations assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Job Summary
The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is the financial business partner for the operations team. This job is responsible for financial analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and associated ad-hoc requests. The job also provides ad hoc support for the business as necessary.
Responsibilities
+ Consolidating monthly financial statements for PD Operations, performing variance analysis, and monitoring SG&A and key operational performance metrics.
+ Serving as a strategic advisor to the VP of Operations, Site Management, and functional partners in Tax, Audit and Operational Excellence.
+ Leading the annual budget and long-range planning ( LRP ) for cost categories ensuring alignment with commercial and supply chain strategies.
+ Driving cost-out initiatives to improve warehouse productivity metrics such as LPH / TPH (Lines/Throughput Per Hour) and the overall Cost to Serve.
+ Developing ROI and financial models for strategic investments and managing end-to-end project finance from initiation to post-deployment return tracking.
+ Using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve data quality, systems, and financial work processes to increase enterprise efficiency.
Qualifications
+ 8-12 years of experience, preferred
+ Bachelors degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
