Job Description: Lead Reimbursement Analyst-Debit Department 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday The Lead Reimbursement Analyst provides excellent support to department employees by answering questions, providing necessary coaching, and analyzing payor trends. The Lead is also responsible for basic Reimbursement Analyst duties: analyzes reimbursement trends and identifies overpayments, facilitates reconsiderations, and appeals with payers. This role coordinates correction of insurance plan errors, payment transfers, and account adjustments. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years healthcare collection experience. Demonstrated knowledge of acute care medical insurance billing Education: High School or equivalent. Requirements: Experience with acute care medical billing, explanation of benefits, and collections. Computer proficiency: Microsoft Works, Excel, and database entry. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain patient under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills.
