Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst will include:
Financial analysis, establishing performance management baselines, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to Control Account Managers (CAMs) and key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3+ years of professional experience; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Masters degree.
Microsoft Office skills.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance Earned Value Management experience
Excel Experience - macros, pivot tables, V look ups, etc.
5+ years of related finance experiences
Experience with Government / DoD Contracts
Experience with COBRA and SAP tools
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Experience working in a team environment
Proactive, able to develop strategic process improvements
Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
Advocate for change and continuous improvement.
Ability to coordinate with multiple partners.
Dedicated, able to develop strategic operational improvement for assigned team.
Previous experience with detailed analysis of data exhibiting high analytical ability and degree of accuracy with numerical data.
