About Us Seven Springs Wealth Group is an independently owned and operated wealth management firm based in Brentwood, TN. We provide comprehensive financial planning to affluent families and individuals, as well as multigenerational family office services to the ultra-high-net-worth. We also provide fiduciary investment services to small and mid-sized institutions, including corporate retirement plans, foundations, and endowments. For over twenty years, our mission has been to build deep and meaningful relationships with people and their wealth so they can venture forward confidently. We operate in a Diamond Team model: small, focused advisor teams built around trust, long-term relationships, and genuine planning depth. About the Role This is a financial advisor seat on the firm's flagship Diamond Team - and it is not a traditional wealth management role. Client-facing presence and executive communication skills are as important as technical depth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in an investment committee and a client meeting - as well as equally at home analyzing a balance sheet and sitting across from a second-generation family member managing an operating portfolio. Qualifications:
Family Office Services
Seven Springs Wealth Group's family office services practice serves ultra-high-net-worth clients with operating businesses, multi-entity portfolios, and multigenerational wealth complexity. This role is the firm s senior resource in that practice - and an opportunity to help shape how it grows. A defined allocation of this role s time will be dedicated to one of the firm s most complex client relationships - a multi-entity operating portfolio in the agricultural, livestock, and outdoor industries - working directly alongside the CEO and the client s second-generation operational leader. Ongoing engagement averages approximately 10 hours per week, with higher intensity during planning cycles, restructuring projects, and entity-level financial reviews.
Assist in the development of operating plans for entities that lack them - establish baseline budgets and revenue expectations against which monthly and quarterly performance can be measured
Establish and maintain a consistent reporting cadence and format across all entities - monthly where needed, quarterly where appropriate - including variance reporting against operating plans
Provide financial oversight and reporting across a multi-entity operating portfolio - identifying trends, underperformance, and capital needs across balance sheets and P&Ls
Build and maintain financial and business models; own cash flow visibility and capital allocation analysis
Evaluate and prioritize capital investments across entities; prepare decision-ready briefings and manager memos
Serve as an authorized point of contact with entity-level managers for information gathering and reporting purposes - all recommendations and decisions route through firm and family leadership
Coordinate with external CPAs, bookkeepers, attorneys, and bankers - serve as the integrating intelligence layer across all external advisors
Attend board meetings and executive-level financial reviews for portfolio entities - synthesize findings, flag action items, and brief leadership in real time
Understand entity structures, contracts, and operational practices; flag legal, tax, regulatory, insurance, and licensing risks
Translate complexity into clear, actionable recommendations for family principals and operational leadership
From time to time, assist with administrative matters related to employee benefits and HR coordination across entities - a minor but real component that reflects the hands-on, ownership mentality this role requires
Contribute to the continued development of the firm s family office practice - refining service delivery, building internal processes, and expanding the capability to additional client relationships over time
About You
7 - 20 years of experience across wealth management, institutional finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate banking, equity research, or a combination
CPA, CFA, or CFP strongly preferred - required advisory licenses required at minimum
Direct experience serving or working alongside business owners, founders, or executives navigating capital events, liquidity transitions, or complex balance sheet decisions
Financial modeling proficiency - comfortable building and owning models across operating businesses, not just investment portfolios
Experience coordinating across CPAs, attorneys, bankers, and operational leadership on behalf of a client or principal
Nashville market familiarity preferred; Southeast regional experience considered
Backgrounds in M&A advisory, venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, capital formation, real estate development or financing, or equity research are particularly relevant
A genuine interest in animals, agriculture, fishing, hunting, or outdoor industries is a meaningful differentiator - this person will be embedded in a world where those interests matter and where treating the work like your own business is expected
A technically strong advisor who leads with relationships and earns trust through competence, not credentials alone
Fluent in the language of business - M&A, capital formation, equity, valuation, corporate finance - because you ve lived and worked in that world
Equally comfortable analyzing a multi-entity operating portfolio and advising a family on their estate plan
Polished and confident in front of sophisticated clients - executives, founders, family offices, operators, and trustees
Assertive in client conversations - you give recommendations, not options
Self-directed and comfortable operating without a large support infrastructure around you
A collaborator who works well within a team investment framework and is energized by building
