LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) partnering with a privately held, project-based organization to identify a senior accounting leader to oversee core accounting and financial operations for a specific division. This is open due to both growth and succession planning. This role will partner closely with operations and leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable processes. It will work with others in accounting to assist them for the division but wont have direct reports.

Responsibilities:
Lead accounting, payroll, and operational finance functions
Complete budgeting, WIP, job costing for projects
Manage month-end and year-end close for division
Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
Support audits and regulatory reporting
Maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Review subcontractor billing, lien waivers, and closeouts
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years' of progressive accounting experience required, ideally at a GC
Construction or project-based accounting experience
CPA preferred
Foundation in public accounting preferred
