JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Intern is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team. This is a remote, unpaid internship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze data to determine outstanding balances for external clients.
Work on collections for outstanding accounts receivables for external clients.
Monitor and respond to inquiries coming into the accounts receivables inbox.
Provide timely response to inquiries from external and internal customers.
Navigate third-party invoicing systems.
Provide updates and communications to the laboratories on client accounts.
Assist the Finance team with projects and administrative support tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
General knowledge of basic accounting practices
Expert level skills utilizing Microsoft Excel
General knowledge of accounting software
Precise data entry skills and PC proficiency
Excellent customer services and communication skills
Ability to analyze information
Works well on a team
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a general office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This job may require travel less than 20%
