NetSuite Financial Specialist Remote | Full-Time | Consulting Environment Are you a NetSuite Financials expert who enjoys helping organizations transform their finance operations and ERP environments? We're partnering with a growing consulting organization seeking a Senior NetSuite Financial Consultant to lead enterprise NetSuite implementations with a strong focus on Financials, accounting operations, reporting, and ERP transformation . This is a highly consultative, client-facing role where you'll work directly with Finance and Accounting leadership to design scalable NetSuite solutions, modernize financial processes, and improve visibility across key business operations. What You'll Be Doing Lead the functional delivery of NetSuite implementation projects across all major phases, including: Discovery & requirements gathering Solution design & configuration Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) Testing & User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Deployment & go-live support Post-go-live optimization & continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Facilitate workshops with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and Executive stakeholders Gather and document business requirements across financial and operational workflows Configure NetSuite Financial modules to support scalable, best-practice business operations Translate accounting and operational requirements into practical NetSuite solutions Lead solution discussions around: Financial reporting Revenue recognition Multi-entity accounting Consolidations Procurement workflows Internal controls Month-end close optimization Develop and maintain solution documentation, process maps, and functional specifications Partner closely with project teams to manage scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables Drive UAT, issue resolution, and deployment readiness Support financial data migration efforts including chart of accounts, historical balances, vendors/customers, fixed assets, and revenue schedules Deliver training and knowledge transfer to Finance, Accounting, AP, AR, Procurement, and Operations teams Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, automation, reporting, workflows, and customizations Provide post-go-live recommendations focused on optimization and long-term success What We're Looking For Required Experience 5+ years of NetSuite consulting and implementation experience Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite Financials configuration Strong understanding of accounting operations, ERP best practices, and financial workflows Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementations Ability to lead client-facing workshops and executive-level discussions Strong documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills Experience balancing accounting requirements with broader operational business needs Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting capabilities Strong Experience In: Core Financials General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank Reconciliation & Cash Management Fixed Assets Expense Management Financial Reporting Financial Operations Month-end and year-end close processes Multi-subsidiary and multi-entity accounting Intercompany transactions Procurement and approval workflows Internal controls and audit readiness Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting optimization Revenue Management Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) Deferred revenue schedules Subscription or recurring billing models Revenue allocation and compliance reporting Reporting & Analytics Saved Searches Financial Reporting & Dashboards KPIs and Executive Reporting SuiteAnalytics Budget vs. Actual reporting Consolidated financial reporting Experience with tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Planning, or similar FP&A/reporting solutions is a plus. Preferred Experience Experience supporting organizations in industries such as: SaaS Professional Services Wholesale Distribution Multi-entity environments Exposure to tools and platforms such as: SuiteBilling Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) Procurement automation tools Expense management platforms ERP integrations and connected business systems Relevant certifications are strongly preferred, particularly those related to NetSuite, ERP consulting, accounting, or project delivery .
