Overview

The Senior Analyst, FP&A will support cost & headcount forecasting/analytics for Epsilon’s Technology & Services Practice.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the candidate will be accountable for key aspects of the FP&A function including the following:

  • Work directly with Director of FP&A on the Operating Expense forecast process for Tech & Services which includes direct client costs, headcount, commissions, shared service allocations, etc.
  • Partnering with Business/Product leaders to better understand headcount and cost requirements monthly for rolling forecasts
  • Performing client profitability analytics and making recommendations / partnering with the business on ways to improve client margins
  • Analyzing client cost metrics to help the business understand risks / opportunities to forecast for direct client costs
  • Coordinating with other FP&A team members to ensure all components of the forecast are aligned
  • Contributing feedback to the Reporting team to develop and update customized reporting that effectively summarizes results for both revenue & cost

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in Financial Planning & Analysis for a global Fortune 500 company. Strong financial/accounting acumen, understanding of business analytics, and excellent Excel modeling skills are a must.

  • Finance or Accounting degree; MBA preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in FP&A
  • Experience working with various levels of the organization including leadership & peers
  • Experience developing Excel based financial forecast models, reconciliations, and analytics
  • Experience supporting business decisions with business cases and analysis
  • Experience working with databases and information systems
  • Experience implementing initiatives and key projects
  • Experience at a direct marketing, professional services or technology related firm is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel required; advanced Powerpoint preferred; experience with Financial Planning Systems (e.g. Prophix, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and SalesForce.com) a plus.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Infrequent travel may be required

Base Salary: $73,600.00 - $136,600.00

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
