Job Duties include: Explaining balances after insurance payment- Co-pays, Co-Insurance, Deductibles Explaining hospital's financial policies regarding repayment of outstanding balances Screening patients requesting consideration for charity services Work closely with internal and external departments (Admitting/Registration/Collection Agencies) to maximize prompt repayment of outstanding balances. Pay and Shift: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Pay is $15-17 based on experience Requirements: Strong communication skills Strong Understanding of Medical Insurances, Medical Billing Prior collection or financial counseling experience preferred Strong computer skills, use of medical systems, spreadsheets preferred High School diploma required, continuing education or experience preferred Perks and Benefits: Unlimited Referral Bonus (When someone you refer works 40 hours you get $40, When they work 100 hours you get $100) Medical Insurance after 60 days on assignment.
