Finance Manager/ Controller

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to join our executive team and lead all aspects of financial operations. This is not just a reporting role, you'll be actively involved in day-to-day processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial health. As our Finance Manager/Controller, you will be the cornerstone of our financial integrity. You'll oversee daily accounting functions, deliver timely reporting, maintain compliance, and support key business decisions. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence organizational strategy while remaining actively involved in core financial processes. Primary Duties of Position: Assure that the books of the company accurately reflect of the activity of the company. Has the position of Vice President on the board of directors for the company. Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting to Group on a periodic basis. Ensures that financial Planning and subsequent forecasts are reported as required. Manages Bank relationships and Bank accounts and manage the transfer of funds. Responsible for Insurance and Risk management and assurance that coverage is maintained. Advise management and Operations on basic business practices. Acts as Liaison between Group and the Company when needed. Ensures that internal controls are in place to protect shareholder value. Coordinates with the internal audit department of AMG. Provides financial analysis and costing processes as needed. Oversees External Financial Audits. Trustee for 401K. Responsible for all financial systems. Manages cash to support operations. Assures tax information is provided as required For Federal taxes, State taxes, property tax, use tax and others as needed. Approves purchase orders for large amounts. Oversees that Employee benefits are in place. Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by Management. Manages: Others: Supervision of the of the financial areas Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Fixed assets Inventory General ledger Oversee other Departments as needed: Human Resources IT Responsibility Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Accounting and Finance Ability to understand and use computerized financial systems and Analysis tools Understanding of foreign exchange and taxation concepts Ability to perform analysis Ability to determine if the results are reasonable Ability to Manage others Ability to execute decisions Strong Accounting Experience Liaison to ALD Group and AMG management as required What You Bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5-7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in a handson controller role. Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical capability. Years of Experience: 7 -10 years Accounting Finance experience. Usually obtained by working as an operational financial Controller.
