Senior Tax Manager

Kforce's client, a growing regional CPA firm in Plantation, FL, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager. This firm offers a great work life balance, year end bonus, good benefits along with the opportunity to advance to a Partner. This position can work up to 1 day remote.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Lead and manage complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries
• Manage client relationships and the entire engagement, including quoting of engagements, billing, preparation of invoices
• Review and approve tax returns prepared by managers and staff
• Conduct technical tax research for staff and supervisors
• Draft memoranda on complex issues
• Prepartion of invoices
• Be a technical resource for staff and supervisors
• Manage team conflicts
• Supervise and develop managers, tax staff, and mentor our growing team
• Assist in business development and proposal preparation
• Participate in the firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities* Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
• 7-10 years of public accounting tax experience with a CPA
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office
