LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Financial Analyst role for a global manufacturer. This role supports the financial performance of a manufacturing/plant operation through P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis. The Financial Analyst partners closely with plant finance leadership and operations to provide clear insight into performance drivers, highlight risks and opportunities, and support datadriven decision making.

This is a handson, onsite role with strong exposure to plant operations, cost structure, and leadership.

Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly P&L close for the plant, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Prepare and maintain monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets
  • Perform budgettoactual analysis, identifying key drivers and trends
  • Conduct deepdive financial analysis on labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, productivity, and margins
  • Partner with plant leadership to explain financial results and support corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support operational initiatives, cost improvement, and capital requests
  • Track and analyze key plant KPIs and convert data into actionable financial insights
  • Support cost accounting activities, including standard cost reviews and variance analysis
  • Assist with audits, internal controls, and financial reporting as needed
  • Continuously improve reporting tools, processes, and financial transparency at the plant level

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-5 years of financial analysis or accounting experience in a manufacturing or plant environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
  • Experience working with ERP systems; comfort pulling and analyzing large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Detailoriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
