We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to lead our accounting operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and providing strategic insight to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with GAAP
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with senior leadership
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Manage audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors
Drive financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance tracking, to support business decisions
Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial planning activities
Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership to provide financial guidance and actionable insights
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a strong, collaborative team environment
What We???re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA strongly preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and support strategic initiatives
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
