Position: Pricing Analyst, Natural Gas & Electric
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Compensation: $68,000-$78,000/annually, based on experience
What We Are Looking For
NOCO is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will perform technical, analytical and statistical duties related to sales
forecasting, revenue requirement and rate design analysis, cost of service studies and other
statistical analysis. This position provides analytical support and advice to meet other business
area objectives.
What You Will Do
- Accurately and timely complete all assigned pricing within prescribed parameters.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of all client records related to invoicing and bill payment.
- Submit daily gas nominations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reach out to suppliers and pipelines to ensure all gas nominations flow as intended.
- Draft and distribute reports to team members as needed.
- Update rates as directed by Pricing Manager.
- Process and audit EDI files daily.
- Accurately invoice customers.
- Maintain sales tax rates and jurisdiction codes.
- Provide support for disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process.
- Answer questions related to completed pricing that are raised by Energy Consultants.
- Provide after hour coverage of nomination curtailments as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or accounting or related field.
- 3 years of related experience
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to understand and improve procedures
- Mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Fundamental understanding of financial markets
- Strength in initiative-taking, and a demonstrated track record in proactively identifying improvement opportunities and acting upon them
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks demanding of immediate attention, and to juggle multiple, on-going, concurrent responsibilities
- Ability to work efficiently and maximize productivity
- Competency in the following computer programs: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
