Manager, Finance Operations

This opportunity is with a private equity-backed, multi-site organization seeking a Finance Manager to join its operational finance team. The role has been created in response to the company's continued growth and active acquisition strategy, with a focus on strengthening financial operations and scalability across multiple locations and business units.

You will perform financial analysis to support operations and financial objectives; supports annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting production in the Solver forecasting system; analyze actuals vs. budget variances for operations, physician practices, and /or facilities (e.g. hospital and ASCs) segments; provide analysis and commentary in support of financial reporting packages for internal and external third parties.

Work environment: Can work 100% remote but will need to travel once a quarter.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic and hands-on business partner, supporting Finance Leadership and operational leaders.

Utilize financial reporting and forecasting tools to aid in the development of annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for multiple business entities and departments.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors, department, and operational leaders.

Lead or support monthly meetings with various operational and functional leaders to review and discuss financial performance.

Develop financial models and pro forma analyses to facilitate informed decision-making, such as analyzing the financial impact of new business acquisitions, services, or processes.

Build strong working relationships with business partners across all levels of the organization.

Communicate in a responsive and professional manner with all employees and third parties, ensuring regular, consistent communication for effective decision-making.

Demonstrate unwavering integrity, inspiring trust and respect throughout the organization, while prioritizing honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in corporate finance or operational finance.

Experience within healthcare services is a plus.

Strong understanding of Profit & loss statements, Cash flow statements, Balance sheets, Intercompany financial reporting

Knowledge of Budgeting and forecasting, Financial modeling, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity and alignment.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial forecasting tools

Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
