This role will require 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.Join the Interventional Cardiology Therapies (ICT) finance team supporting the Renal Denervation (RDN) Therapy.
The Financial Consultant will report to the RDN Sr Finance Director and support the RDN Marketing organization by collaborating closely with the Commercial Marketing leader and have some collaboration with Regions. In this role you will get hands on experience and insights into various types of analyses to support the business and will be a voice for the finance organization. The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform and analyze financial models, identify market trends, complete month-end financial activities and investigate variance drivers, build financial forecasts, analyze P&L statements, and provide financial insights to RDN leadership to drive financial execution.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Serve as the strategic finance partner to the RDN Marketing leadership team, providing forward-looking financial insights, scenario modeling, and recommendations that shape key business and investment decisions, including revenue modeling.
Lead financial planning activities for the RDN organization in partnership with the Sr. Finance Director, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Strategic Planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise financial objectives and growth strategies.
Oversee financial performance management, translating results into actionable insights for leadership and driving discussions on risks, opportunities, and performance improvement actions.
Provide strategic expense and investment analysis, partnering with business leaders to ensure resources are allocated effectively, spending aligns with strategic priorities, and financial policies are upheld.
Lead financial evaluation of Gross Margin strategies, including product portfolio optimization, pricing and mix analysis, and scenario modeling to support profitability and growth initiatives.
Act as the finance lead on cross-functional initiatives, advising on investments, project economics, valuation analysis, and financial risk mitigation while influencing key operational and strategic decisions.
Shape and enhance core business processes including Strategic Planning, Economic Value assessment, and Project Prioritization by developing financial frameworks and decision-support tools used by leadership.
Lead the financial narrative for leadership reviews (e.g., QBRs, AOP reviews), synthesizing financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior management.
Drive finance transformation and process improvement initiatives that enhance planning, reporting, analytical capabilities, and best practices across the RDN and broader ICT Finance organization.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 8+ years
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
MBA/CPA/CMA - Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers and the proven experience translating financial data into meaningful, concise information
Experience with business partnering
Strong ability to work in financial/reporting systems (SAP, GFS, Spend, BOXI, Hyperion, OneStream)
Experience in a global organization
Experience interfacing and influencing various levels of management
Strong attention to detail
Strong executive communication skills, both written & verbal
Ability to work effectively under uncertainties.
Ability to translate ideas and financial results into concise presentations for senior management
Ability to operate within a complex organization and various levels of management
Ability to manage tight time commitments in a high-pressure position
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
