Our client is large well-funded extremely active Private Equity/Real Estate Investment Fund with over a 20 year track record of profitable investing. Currently seeking to add a VP with a decorated history of sourcing and closing big ticket commercial real estate transactions in the Southeast, select individual will be responsible for owning and building a large South East territory for a very active well known commercial real estate investment fund.

Primary Strategies include: office, industrial, logistics, data centers and mixed-use assets.

  • The role will led office/industrial underwriting/M&A activities across South East US region
  • Identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies
  • Utilize network of industry relationships with Brokerage community and Property Managers to procure desired assets in target regions
  • Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
  • Ideal professional will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms' brand and manage the full life-cycle deal execution process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities
  • Prepare Investment/Offering Memorandums for Investment Committee and Partners
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience within commercial Real Estate Acquisitions
  • Top Academic pedigree required
  • CFA/MBA strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends
  • Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
